How it works

Google Sheet in, client-ready review out

The whole flow, end to end — set up, validate, preview, bind, share, and approve. No account for your client, no new tool for you.

  1. 01

Set up your Google Sheet & give access

Keep planning where you already do. Calipzo reads a single tab with a small set of columns. To save approvals and remarks back, add the Calipzo service account as Editor.

    • One tab per content calendar
    • Row 1 holds the required headers
    • Add the Calipzo service account as Editor
    • Media files viewable by your client
  2. 02

    Validate the tab

Paste the tab-specific URL. Calipzo reads it and explains anything that needs a fix — missing columns, duplicate or blank IDs (with row numbers), or dates in the wrong format.

    • Friendly, specific guidance
    • Row numbers for every issue
    • Re-validate as many times as you like
  3. 03

    Preview before sharing

See the exact calendar and queue your client will see, including media previews and fallbacks. Nothing is shared yet — you can go back and fix the sheet freely.

    • Calendar + review queue
    • Open any post to check media
    • Pre-bind: nothing is live
  4. 04

Bind one access code to one sheet

Connecting is deliberate and confirmation-gated. One access code connects one calendar — it can’t be moved to an unrelated sheet later. Your access code starts counting down at connect.

    • Clear consequence copy
    • Explicit confirmation
    • Unguessable share slug generated
  5. 05

    Share a private link

Send the link to your client (optionally password-protected). They review on mobile or desktop — no account, no spreadsheet.

    • Private and unlisted
    • Optional password
    • Mobile-first portal
  6. 06

    Collect approvals

Clients approve, request changes, or leave remarks. Every decision saves back to your sheet — your source of truth.

    • One-tap approve
    • Change requests + remarks
    • Synced to your sheet

Access: Editor for write-back, viewable for media

Add calendar@calipzo-dev.iam.gserviceaccount.com as Editor to your Google Sheet so Calipzo can save approvals and remarks back to the right rows. For media previews, files just need to be viewable by the client (usually “Anyone with the link can view”). You don’t need to make the whole sheet publicly editable.

This is an automated Google service account — a software identity, not a person. It can only reach the one sheet you share with it (and the media links inside it); no Calipzo developer or admin can browse your Drive, and you can remove its access anytime from the sheet’s Share settings.

Media sources Calipzo recognizes

Public/viewable links preview best. Some videos or files may open externally depending on the provider and permissions — you’ll always get a clean card, never a broken image.
