No. IDs just need to be unique so updates save back to the right row. They can be numbers, text, or a mix (e.g. 1007, C-22, YT-7).

Use yyyy-mm-dd (e.g. 2026-06-15). Tip: set the Date column to plain text so Sheets doesn’t auto-reformat it. A post with no date still appears in the queue, just not on the calendar.

Your sheet can have many tabs. Opening the exact tab and copying the address-bar URL (it includes the tab) makes sure Calipzo reads the one you mean.

Add the Calipzo service account, calendar@calipzo-dev.iam.gserviceaccount.com, as Editor to your Google Sheet. That lets Calipzo write approval status and remarks back to the correct rows. It’s an automated Google identity, not a person, and it can only touch the sheet you share with it. It never makes your whole sheet public, and you can remove its access anytime from the sheet’s Share settings.

Not always. Whether something embeds depends on the provider, the file’s permissions, and the link format. When a preview isn’t possible, Calipzo shows a clean card with an ‘open’ button instead of a broken image.

Some YouTube/Vimeo videos block embedding, and some files aren’t shared for preview. In those cases the post shows a provider-aware card (e.g. ‘Watch on YouTube’, ‘Open in Dropbox’) that opens in a new tab.

Make the media viewable by your client. For Drive, set it to ‘Anyone with the link can view’. Malformed links show a clear ‘we couldn’t read this link’ card so nothing ever looks broken.

No. Calipzo reads the links in your sheet and previews the media in place. It does not copy, re-host, or store your files. The originals stay wherever you keep them.

No. One access code connects one calendar. If you need another calendar, you redeem another code. The same sheet can be connected again later under a new code.
